About Mystery Me

My name is Gary Shrimpling and I live in Durham in the North East of England. I'm a web designer and self-taught photographer. I started this photoblog in May 2005, shortly after purchasing my very first digital SLR. I recently upgraded to a Canon 20D which produces superb results.

The photographs you'll find in Mystery Me are generally quirky, ironic, unexpected, surreal and occasionally convey a sense of mystery ;o)

As for myself, I'm no mystery. I've never worn a mask or even donned a cape. Although I have to admit, it would look cool.
